Arthur wakes up one sunny morning, looks out the window…
Description
Arthur wakes up one sunny morning, looks out the window, takes his favorite toy cars, and goes outside to play. His friends are already waiting: Bibika, a blue car; Tyoma, a large tractor; a red fire truck; and Borya, a yellow bus. The vehicles greet Arthur, saying in Russian, "Би-би! Привет, Артур!" Suddenly, the sky becomes very dark and a strong wind begins to blow. Leaves spin, branches sway, and the clouds twist into a huge funnel. Borya cries in Russian, "Ой-ой-ой! Что это?!" Tyoma says in Russian, "Это торнадо! Нам нужно скорее спрятаться!" The tornado approaches across the field, lifting dust, leaves, and small branches. Bibika cries in Russian, "Я боюсь!" and the fire truck says in Russian, "И я боюсь!" Arthur stays calm and reassures them in Russian, "Не бойтесь, друзья! Мы вместе! Сейчас найдём безопасное место!" Robot Robik quickly arrives to help and announces in Russian, "Внимание! Всем машинам следовать за мной! Нужно укрыться в большом прочном гараже!" Tyoma clears the road, while the fire truck turns on its siren, sounding in Russian, "Уи-и-и! Уи-и-и!" Borya gathers all the little cars and drives them toward the garage. Suddenly, the strong wind lifts a small red car, which cries in Russian, "Помогите!" Robik extends a long mechanical arm and carefully catches the car, saying in Russian, "Держись! Я тебя спасу!" Everyone reaches the garage and closes the large doors. Outside, the tornado roars in Russian, "У-У-У-У-У!" Inside, the cars huddle together. Bibika asks Arthur in Russian, "Артур, а он нас не заберёт?" Arthur replies in Russian, "Нет, мы в безопасном месте." After some time, the wind begins to calm and the tornado moves far beyond the mountains. The sun appears again. Everyone leaves the garage and sees branches, leaves, and small trees scattered across the road. Tyoma says in Russian, "Ну и приключение!" All the cars thank Arthur in Russian, "Спасибо тебе, Артур! Ты помог нам не растеряться!" Robik gives Arthur a special badge reading in Russian, "Герой, который не бросает друзей!" That evening, everyone gathers near the garage, drinks delicious tea, and tells stories about the adventure. Arthur yawns. Robik says in Russian, "Ну что, спасатель, пора спать." Arthur asks in Russian, "А торнадо больше не придёт?" Arthur gets into bed, closes his eyes, and falls peacefully asleep while the cars quietly remain in their garage and dream beautiful dreams. End with a warm, reassuring nighttime atmosphere.
