Every morning, Ahmad wakes early and goes into the village looking for work because he wants to earn enough money to buy medicine for his mother and provide for their household needs. One day, as Ahmad walks through the village market, he suddenly notices a black wallet lying on the ground. He picks it up and looks inside, discovering a large amount of money and an identification card. With concern and hesitation, Ahmad says in Pashto, "که دا پیسې کور ته یوسم، د مور درمل به واخلم او څو ورځې به مو ژوند ښه شي." He immediately remembers his mother's advice. In a gentle, instructive tone, his mother says in Pashto, "زویه، که هر څومره غریب هم شو، د بل انسان حق مه اخله. حلاله یوه وړه ګټه د حرامو ډېرو پیسو څخه غوره ده." Ahmad returns the wallet to him. Relieved and happy, the elderly man says in Pashto, "زویه! ما فکر کاوه چې خپلې ټولې پیسې مې له لاسه ورکړې. ته دې ډېر لوی احسان وکړ." Humbly and sincerely, Ahmad replies in Pashto, "ما یوازې ستا حق درته درکړ. زما مور تل راته وایي چې د بل چا مال باید هېڅکله وانخلم." The elderly man offers Ahmad money as a reward, but Ahmad initially refuses it. Kindly but insistently, the elderly man says in Pashto, "دا ستا د صداقت انعام دی. او که غواړې، زما په دوکان کې کار هم کولی شې." Ahmad becomes very happy and says in Pashto, "هو، زه به په ډېرې خوښۍ کار وکړم." Ahmad returns home and tells his mother the whole story. As she listens, her eyes fill with tears. She embraces Ahmad and proudly says in Pashto, "زویه، زه په تا ویاړم. ته شاید ډېرې پیسې ونه لرې، خو ستا زړه ډېر شتمن دی." Ahmad smiles and replies lovingly in Pashto, "مورې، ستا دعا وه چې زه له غلطې لارې وژغورل شوم." From that day onward, Ahmad works honestly.
