Description

A vibrant cartoon with colours and smooth animation. THE MOON HAS A HICCUP - SCENE TWO The Professor Arrives Whimsical, surreal children's cartoon with charming storybook animation, rich colors, crooked houses, expressive characters, and playful British voices. Continue the same magical village and enormous yellow moon from Scene One. A small purple pigeon wearing an enormous red bow tie emerges from a crooked chimney, carrying a battered leather suitcase. His name is PROFESSOR CRUMB. He has a pompous British accent and very tiny feet. PROFESSOR CRUMB: "Good heavens! Who's been shaking the village? I've spilled my bedtime soup!" MOON: "I'm terribly sorry. I've got the hiccups." PROFESSOR CRUMB: "Lunar hiccups! Very uncommon. Very inconvenient. Extremely yellow." MOON: "Can you cure them?" PROFESSOR CRUMB: "Madam, I have seventeen degrees in Extremely Difficult Things." MOON: "Are any of them in hiccups?" PROFESSOR CRUMB: "Absolutely not. But I do own a suitcase." He dramatically opens his suitcase. Inside are a feather, a pickle, a tiny golden trumpet, and a very confused-looking worm wearing a top hat. WORM: "Is this the train to Birmingham?" PROFESSOR CRUMB: "Not now, Gerald!" Professor Crumb removes the trumpet. PROFESSOR CRUMB: "The traditional cure for hiccups is a tremendous surprise!" He blows the trumpet. Instead of music, a squeaky little voice comes out. TRUMPET: "I'M A POTATO!" The Moon stares. MOON: "That's not terribly surprising." PROFESSOR CRUMB: "It surprised the potato." Suddenly- MOON: "HIC!" Professor Crumb's enormous red bow tie turns into a butterfly and flies away. PROFESSOR CRUMB: "MY NECKWEAR! COME BACK, YOU UNGRATEFUL NAPKIN!" The Moon begins to giggle. MOON: "Oh dear. I think I'm going to hiccup again." Professor Crumb looks horrified. PROFESSOR CRUMB: "Everybody hold on to something sensible!" The worm grabs the pickle. WORM: "Will this do?" CUT TO BLACK. END SCENE TWO.
