Muhammad and the Envelope

Description

A vibrant cartoon with colours and smooth animation. Muhammad and the Envelope Eleven-year-old Muhammad went to the car wash near Rudaki Avenue every day after school. He sprayed the cars with a hose, scrubbed the tires with a brush, and earned a few somoni a day, which he gave to his grandmother. One evening he was vacuuming an old gray Lada. Under the back seat lay a thick paper envelope, and inside it were stacks of money, more than he had ever seen in his life. Muhammad's head spun. He thought about how this money could buy medicine for his grandmother and new boots for his little sister for the winter, and how he would never again have to wash other people's cars in the evenings. He hid the envelope under his shirt and couldn't eat or speak until night. At home, his grandmother noticed that her grandson wasn't himself. He confessed and put the envelope on the table. She was silent for a long time, then stroked his head and said, "My child, other people's riches never bring happiness. Return it, and your heart will be at peace."
