One sunny afternoon, she went for a walk near the forest with her little lavender backpack. She followed a beautiful yellow butterfly. "Wait for me!" Lily laughed. But the butterfly flew deeper and deeper into the forest. When Lily finally stopped, she looked around. The forest was quiet. "Oh..." Lily whispered. "I think I'm lost." Suddenly, she heard a tiny sound behind a bush. "Hello?" A little white rabbit hopped out. "My name is Bibi," said the rabbit. "Why are you sad?" "I can't find my way home," Lily said. "Don't worry," said Bibi. "I'll help you!" Bibi led Lily through the forest. Soon, they met a little orange fox. "Hello!" said the fox. "My name is Ruby." "Lily is lost," Bibi explained. Ruby smiled. "I know a safe path through the forest. Follow me!" The three friends walked together. They crossed a little wooden bridge and passed a sparkling stream. But then they reached a fork in the path. "Which way should we go?" Lily asked. Suddenly, a small brown owl flew down from a tree. "Whooo is looking for the way home?" he asked. "We are!" Lily laughed. "My name is Oliver," said the owl. "I can see the whole forest from up here." Oliver flew high above the trees. A few moments later, he came back. "I found the path!" he said. Lily, Bibi and Ruby followed Oliver through the forest. Soon, Lily saw something familiar. "My house!" Lily ran toward her parents. "Lily!" Her parents hugged her tightly. "We were so worried!" Lily smiled and hugged them. "I wasn't alone," she said. "My new friends helped me!" Bibi, Ruby and Oliver watched from the edge of the forest. Lily waved goodbye. "Thank you, my friends!" And from that day on, Lily knew that even when the world seemed big and scary, kindness could always help you find your way home. THE END
